Some of my friends and family may be slightly surprised by this post as I’ve been working on one that I’ve mentioned to people, but decided that it’s not a good fit for this milestone! That will pushed to next week
New Logo and the future of this blog
The results are in and the most popular logo (by one vote) is…
Drumroll….
I may use different logos for different aspects of my business, because a lot of love went into them, but the blog will now be represented by this logo going forward!
And now a confession/admission/acknowledgement… I’ve been very naughty with this blog and my posting timetable. It started when I got my last job, but continued when I came back. I’m making a promise now: every Friday I will post, even if it’s a short one! I still like my nickname for my blog readers, so you’ll always be my Wednesday Weasels even if it’s not a Wednesday anymore. You can always save it and read it on a Wednesday (or maybe even read it again if you want and if it’s ever interesting enough to merit a second read!)
Custom Graphics
I’ve also made the decision but not officially announced it, I won’t source images anymore where I don’t need to (ie talking about other organisations and/or games): all graphics for this blog from now on will be made by me other than the above. Any graphics that are entirely uncredited in a caption in the past have been my own work. This is to build my portfolio and work on improving my art (I’d describe myself as creative rather than artistic, but I’d like to improve in that area)
It’s official: I’ll be doing my first stream on Sunday! It will probably be a small one, I won’t really necessarily be a long one, but one to get my feet wet! I’ll be playing Factorio, which is a resource management game that I’ve been playing on and off for four years! I might take little breaks to chat. I’ll be starting my stream at 2pm GMT(+1) for at least an hour (maybe more depending on how it goes). so if you’re free and want to watch someone play a game (not as well as you’d expect from a four year player!) and chat and probably be a bit fish-out-of-water-y then please pop by, I’d love to see you!

First Twitch Stream!
I feel like I’ve come a long way as a person, a creator, a professional(?) since I began this blog and I’ve got a long way to go. I’ve made some posts that I’m proud of, some that gave bad news, and some that I feel we’re more boring than a pile of rocks, but I aspire to keep growing and hopefully improving. Life is, after all, all about growth and improvement, in my opinion!
With that I’ll end it here: keep an eye out next week for the aforementioned post with some strong opinions that could possibly half my readers!!
